Abby Becerril | Hablo Español
Meet Abigail Becerril. Abby was born in Albuquerque, New Mexico and grew up in Stoughton. Since 2001, Abby has spent many years in a variety of jobs from customer service to field technician. In 2010, Abby tried a yoga class and her interest was peaked! Abby's first yoga teacher training was in 2012 at a Cape Cod yoga studio. Since then, Abby has been guiding students in a wide variety of yoga, breath, movement and meditation classes throughout the Cape Cod community. In 2019, Abby opened & managed her own studio The Tranquil Base in Sandwich. Due to pandemic related hardships, Abby made the difficult decision to close her studio in 2021.
Of teaching yoga, Abby has said, "My own personal practice as well as the way I teach have changed & evolved as I have. The unlearning of many habits of thought that kept me in toxic patterns throughout my life was sparked my my yoga, breath & meditation practice. As i became more aware of my thoughts through the use of these practices a remembrance began taking place, a remembrance that I am Divine, I am Love, I am One with all."
"This is the reason why I continue to work with these wholesome practices and strive to hold a safe space in my classes & one on one, so we as a whole can be open with our own hearts, share our stories which connect us & helps us heal what hurts us. I believe when we take the first step in our own healing we in turn help heal generations of family trauma which we hold in our bodies."
Abby spends her days loving & learning with her 2 children and 2 animal kids. She loves spending time with family & friends, walking her dogs, running her small fine gardening business, organizing retreats to Mexico (Rainbow Adventure Tours) & guiding folks in restorative classes. Abby loves to help drive people back into their own bodies, back into their hearts, and back into their own divinity. Abby's dream is to assist in bringing divinity practices to the underserved communities and to save the worlds street dogs/cats.
